- International passport: valid for the entire duration of your trip and for at least 6 months after your return date.

- A tourist visa: required to enter Madagascar, but easy to obtain on arrival at the airport (cash payment of €35)
- Bank card
Tip: Bring multiple cards (for example, Revolut/Wise and a Visa/Mastercard credit card), and plan to withdraw some cash locally (ariary) for places where cards aren't accepted. Remember to activate the "travel" / "abroad" option in your banking apps.
